Return & Refund Policy

We want you to love your AVO leash! If you're not completely satisfied, here’s how we can help:

Returns

  • To be eligible for a return, the leash must be unused, in its original condition, and returned within 14 days of delivery.

  • Custom or personalized items are final sale and not eligible for return.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective.

Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days.

Exchanges

  • Need a different size or color? If your leash is unused and in original condition, we’re happy to offer an exchange within 14 days of delivery. Just email us at heel@theavo.ca.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • If your product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately with a photo so we can make it right.

Product Care & Wear Notice

We want your AVO leash to last as long as possible — but like all dog gear, natural wear and tear will occur over time. To keep your dog safe, we recommend checking your leash regularly.

  • If the Biothane coating starts to wear down and expose the inner rope, it means the leash has done its job and it's time for a fresh one.

  • If the brass clamps become loose, we’ll happily replace them free of charge. Just email us at heel@theavo.ca and we’ll send you a prepaid return label. You’ll only need to cover a small shipping fee.
